ASCE has honored three people with the 2022 William H. Wisely Award

One goes to Eva Lerner-Lam, M.ASCE, for her long, established record of involvement supporting technical advancement, JEDI principles, and advancing the profession at the local, national, and international level, as well as her continued involvement with T&DI and the Future World Vision project. 

Another goes to James A. Rossberg, P.E., F.SEI, M.ASCE, for his dedication in serving ASCE and its members through leadership of the Society’s nine Institutes, and his effective ability to discuss ideas and share insights to better the technical and professional activities of the Society.

Another goes to Lauren J. Swett, P.E., M.ASCE, for her exemplary leadership and initiative developing and executing programs for the Society’s sections, branches, groups, regions, and Institute chapters, and her tireless efforts on the Leader Training Committee, successfully executing multiple leadership programs.

The William H. Wisely American Civil Engineer Award recognizes individuals or groups of individuals who are members of ASCE and who have made continuing efforts to promote appreciation for the history, tradition, developments, and technical and professional activities of the Society.
