Vision statement

I plan to focus my attention at the grassroots level to enhance collaboration and build on the Section's positive momentum. Serving at the Regional level will provide tools, ideas, and networks that will enable me to continue supporting ASCE PR's growth and increasing its membership. My experience as President of a Section that required revitalization can benefit Region 5 by offering guidance to other ASCE entities, such as Branches, facing similar challenges. Additionally, I intend to continue my advocacy efforts related to infrastructure and public policy. There is significant potential for improvement at the local level, and exchanging ideas within the Region can strengthen our ability to guide public officials more effectively. I look forward to collaborating with the Region 5 Board to develop best practices that can be shared throughout the Society and bring lasting value to our members.
