Vision statement

Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to promoting the field of civil engineering, with a particular focus on inspiring and supporting younger generations. This includes outreach to K-12 students, college students, and younger members. I believe that continuous encouragement and knowledge sharing at every stage of their development is crucial for the growth of our profession and membership, both in terms of quantity and quality.

My goal as governor is to engage actively with student chapters and younger member groups within our Region, ensuring they feel supported and understand the vital role they play in our Society. By fostering a strong connection with these groups, we can not only retain members as they graduate but also encourage them to advocate for ASCE within their own networks. This approach will help us grow our membership and enhance the impact of our organization.
