Vision statement

If re-elected as Region 3 Governor, my vision is to continue to serve the Region and Society to empower members to become more invested in the future of our great profession and their communities. The following are a few of several ways I plan on achieving that vision.

Elevate the presence of our profession

The movie Cities of the Future brings another great opportunity to elevate ourselves and inspire future engineers. We can take it a step further by making the presence of our profession known and help celebrate examples of what we do for our communities.

Do more listening to improve the ASCE experience

I am a firm believer that we can always do better as a Society in listening to the needs of our members. To improve, we need to create an inclusive ecosystem that brings the profession together and add even more value to ASCE membership.

Continue creating pathways to leadership

Our profession is struggling to keep up with current and future demand. We need to wisely invest our resources in students and younger members to keep younger people in the profession and enhance pathways towards the next generation of ASCE leaders.
