Vision statement

I am passionate about ASCE, and truly believe that many of the opportunities in my career are directly related to my involvement with ASCE. ASCE provides support for the individual civil engineer in a way that many other organizations do not, and as Region 3 Governor I want to continue to grow participation and involvement by our students and young professionals so they can benefit from the support that ASCE has to offer. I will continue working with our committees to grow our programming that can support engineers at all stages of their career. I will continue to advocate for ASCE and our local sections to build relationships with local schools and universities to reach future engineers in the classroom through outreach in K-12 and at the university level. I look forward to reaching young people through Future World Vision and other media to show the value that civil engineering brings to our society and encourage them to pursue civil engineering.
