Vision statement

Value – A simple word that has several definitions. No matter how defined, individuals will invest in something—an idea, an individual, or an organization—if they value it.

I have been blessed to have mentors who showed me how being an active member in ASCE enhances one’s personal and professional life by way of the countless opportunities available. No matter what stage in your career you are in, ASCE provides opportunities for you to enhance your own professional development or to help develop others during their own life journey.

My vision as governor is to inform our members on the value they get from their membership. Whether it’s involvement in advocacy, leadership development, mentoring, education, technical advancement, or one of the other countless volunteer opportunities to advance the profession, as a Region 3 Governor I intend to show those who are both members of this great organization and those who are not the value they will get to their personal and professional development from being an active member. I look forward to the opportunity to serve the members of Region 3 as a Governor.
