Vision statement

I envision a future where civil engineering professionals lead transformative advancements, inspire innovation, and collaboratively address global challenges. My vision is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive community within the Region that fosters excellence in engineering, propelling the Society towards sustainable development and technological excellence. ASCE strives to be a driving force in shaping the future of engineering, serving as a hub for continuous learning, professional growth, and the exchange of best practices. My commitment would be to continue that effort. Additionally, ASCE plays a pivotal role in promoting ethical standards, encouraging responsible engineering practices, and advocating for the positive impact of engineering on society.

I seek to empower our Region 1 members to be leaders who not only excel in their technical competencies but also demonstrate a profound commitment to societal welfare, environmental stewardship, and the betterment of humanity. In summary, if elected, I would be committed to being a driving force behind a future where civil engineering excellence is synonymous with positive societal impact.
