Region 10 Governor Official Nominee
Vision statement
Encouraging new generations to take part in the future of society as civil engineers, working on the development of new technologies, in a responsible and sustainable manner, with a view to developing smart cities, is a commitment that I seek to spread. Strengthening interaction between the countries that make up Region 10, through the creation of joint events, in person and/or remotely. Encouraging the implementation of lectures with a future world vision in schools for children and adolescents, with a focus on disseminating the profession of civil engineering as a social transformer. Disseminating ASCE principles and activities through lectures for undergraduate and graduate students, in order to attract new members and encourage the creation of student chapters. And cultivating partnerships with private companies and public agencies to develop projects and activities aimed at less favored communities, with a focus on the inclusion of minorities. These are some of the visions that we will act on. Therefore, after a few years involved in the activities of ASCE Brazil, I am available to represent Region 10, as Governor, to continue working for a strong, united and active ASCE.
