Region 8 Director Official Nominee
Vision statement
I participated in ASCE meetings while attending BYU, and then not again until almost 10 years into my career. But I didn’t understand the benefits to me as a professional until I started to serve in the organization. I will strive to promote these values to Region 8 members and students throughout the region. I will work to promote the role of the Civil Engineer in my local community and with public officials. I will use my experience while serving in ASCE to grow our profession and be a voice for students and members in Region 8. I will carry the legacy of Region 8 is Great, and use what we have done as a model as we mentor and grow sections throughout the region and society. I will serve as a voice for Region 8 members to the society and the Board of Direction; and a representative of the Board to the sections and branches in Region 8. I look forward to the new opportunities and challenges.
