Chittaranjan Ray is a professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Nebraska and works as the director of Nebraska Water Center at the University. He has been at the University of Nebraska for the past 10 years and prior to that he was a professor at the University of Hawaii. He has been involved in the international arena for promoting riverbank filtration. In 2022, he edited the first book on riverbank filtration and conducted workshops in NATO countries on benefits of riverbank filtration.
