Erica Sherman, Ph.D., is an engineer in GAF’s Building Enclosure Research + Innovation group. She has a Ph.D in mechanical engineering with a research focus on experimental fluid dynamics and has nearly five years of experience in roofing material- and system-specific research and development. Her work has included new product development and testing in the residential roofing space. Sherman is a member of ASTM, IIBEC, and National Women in Roofing.
