Joseph R. Fox is president of FX Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm for the specialty chemicals and materials industries. He is a chemist by training and has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Lehigh University and a PhD in chemistry from Penn State. Joe is a 40‐year veteran of the chemicals industry, having worked at Standard Oil of Ohio, BP America, Ashland Chemical and INEOS Composites. Joe is a member of the American Composite Manufacturers Association (ACMA), the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation (IACMI) and ASCE. He is an active member of ASCE’s Speakers’ Bureau and has given webinars to numerous local chapters connecting Fiber‐Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites to ASCE’s Infrastructure Report Card and Future World Vision. Joe also serves as a facilitator of the Infrastructure & Construction working group within IACMI.
Joe also serves as director of the Miracle League of Central Ohio, a baseball league for special needs children throughout the Columbus area. Joe and his wife Susan live in Dublin, Ohio. They have 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren.
