Mohamad H. Hussein is Executive Vice President, Principal Engineer, and Partner at GRL Engineers, Inc., a consulting civil engineering firm with offices nationwide; and Executive Director for Global Industry Relations and a Partner in Pile Dynamics, Inc., an equipment manufacturing and software development company with representatives worldwide, both specializing in testing and evaluations of deep foundations.
Over the past 40+ years, he has been involved in deep foundations projects in 35 States in the U.S.A. and 15 countries overseas. He has co-authored over 60 technical papers, and co-edited 10 ASCE books on geotechnical engineering and deep foundations. Mr. Hussein was Chairman of the Deep Foundations Committee of the Geo-Institute of ASCE, served as a member of the Pile Foundations Standards Committee of ASCE’s Geotechnical & Construction Standards Council, and on the Editorial Board of ASCE’s Journal of Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering. Past Chairman of the PDCA’s Education Committee, and current Chair of the Technical Committee. He serves on deep foundations related committees of ASTM and DFI.
Mr. Hussein is a registered Professional Engineer in several States, holds Expert Level Certificates in dynamic testing of deep foundations, and is the recipient of several industry recognitions and awards.
