Navid H. Jafari is currently an associate professor at Louisiana State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in geotechnical engineering. His research interests span terrestrial, coastal, and offshore geotechnics, specifically focused on hurricanes, floods, and sea level rise.
