Vision statement

I plan to continue my decade long effort to connect students to the profession. I hope to create a better understanding of the value of involvement such that it becomes common knowledge. I believe we can also foster an environment of understanding between technical and business perspectives.
I see engagement with government as another necessity and natural extension as trusted advisors. I hope to see more engineers in the headlines and first references/experts in public media when there are impacts to the public environment and infrastructure. Through the above I expect to improve the cohesion between sections, branches, chapters, and groups. This cohesion will more easily highlight the desperate need for professionals and various funding for all our futures.
