On behalf of the Program Committee, you are cordially invited to participate in ASCE Geo-Institute’s annual event: Geo-Congress 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. This conference has occurred consecutively for 30 years, and this anniversary is being celebrated by returning to where it all began in Utah.
In addition to the regular presentations that highlight research and challenging project delivery, Geo-Congress 2026 will feature multiple invited speakers on selected topics showcasing important contributions and innovations made in academia and practice. The conference will include a wide range of knowledge-enhancing technical and panel sessions, short courses, and workshops. Some of the special topics will include Geotechnical Engineering in Extraterrestrial Environments, Engineering for cascading and compounding geo-hazards, Landslide and Rockfall Analysis and Mitigation, Earthquake Engineering in the Mountain West, Mining Tailings, Geotechnical Engineering Challenges in Soft Clay Soils, and Advancements in lightweight geo-materials.
