Amy L. Hackney is the head of Simpson Gumpertz & Heger’s building technology group in Los Angeles. She has 9 years of experience specializing in design consultation and construction administration for new building enclosures. Consulting with architects, contractors, and building developers, she manages a wide range of projects from residential to high-rise construction. She consults on a variety of building enclosure systems, including below-grade waterproofing, plaza deck waterproofing, exterior wall assemblies, balcony waterproofing, curtain wall and window assemblies, roofing, and vegetative roofing. Amy works on a variety of building types, including condominiums, hospitals, museums, hospitality developments, commercial, and residential.
