Candyce Ward currently works for Cobb Fendley as a project engineer in the Hydrology and Hydraulics Department. She has 6 years of experience working with ArcGIS, HEC-GeoRAS, and HEC-RAS to map unstudied streams and update studied streams based on new topographic data. She has worked with FEMA to incorporate these updates into effective FIRM Panels.
Candyce has received her GISP in 2011 for to her extensive work with ArcGIS and its various tools. She completed her Master of Engineering in Hydrology and Hydraulics from Texas A&M University in 2007 with an emphasis on ArcGIS. She also received her Certified Floodplain Management (CFM) certification in 2008 for her work with floodplains. She has been a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas since 2011.
