Dale Decker received his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Kentucky. He has spent 6-1/2 years involved with materials testing and quality control in Denver and Albuquerque; 4 years of pavement research at the New Mexico Engineering Research Institute; 5 years with Chevron Research and Technology Company in Richmond, California, 7 years with NAPA, leaving as Vice President of Research and Technology.
At NAPA, Mr. Decker served as technical spokesman on a wide variety of issues relating to the HMA Industry during Superpave Implementation. In August of 1999, he joined Oldcastle Materials Group as Vice President , Technical Services. In this role, Mr. Decker, provided support to Oldcastle companies in QC/QA, training and technology implementation areas. In May of 2001, he started a consulting practice, providing professional services in QC/QA issues, training, technology transfer, and forensic engineering.
Mr. Decker is a registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, Colorado, California, and Maryland and is an active member of ASTM, TRB, CTAA, and was the 1996 President of AAPT.
