Dr. Dominique M. Pittenger serves as director of the Women in Engineering Program and as Assistant Professor in the Gallogly College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. She received her Ph.D. in General Engineering at the University of Oklahoma where she had previously received her B.S. in Construction Science and M.S. in Construction Administration. She previously worked as the technical director of the Southern Plains Transportation Center for USDOT Region 6. Before joining academia, she spent a decade working as a project manager for a paving contractor delivering highway projects in five states. She frequently collaborates with Gransberg & Associates, Inc. in a variety of roles from cost engineering to continuing professional education to construction research.
