Ehsan Minaie is an engineering practice leader with experience working with private, federal and international clients, with expertise focused on transportation asset management, performance of infrastructure, infrastructure risk and resilience, and application of technology in assessment of infrastructure. Dr. Minaie is a registered professional engineer in multiple states and serves on multiple international committees, such as Transportation Research Board (TRB) Standing Committee on Bridge Management (AHD35), ASCE/SEI Bridge Management, Inspection & Rehabilitation Committee, and ASCE's Technical Council on Life-Cycle Performance, Safety, Reliability and Risk of Structural Systems. He has also served as the chair for multiple technical committees, such as the Engineering Management Technical Committee of the ASCE-Philadelphia Section.
Dr. Minaie has many publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences and is a reviewer for the ASCE's Journal of Structural Engineering and Earthquake Spectra Journal. He has been recognized by ASCE as the Young Engineer of the Year in the U.S. in 2015, as a Rising Star by Civil + Structural Engineer magazine (2014), Top 20 Under 40 by Engineering News-Record's (ENR) Mid-Atlantic States edition (2014), and as a Top TDM Professional Under 40 by Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association. He also served as the leader of the bridge section of the ASCE's 2014 Report Card for Pennsylvania's Infrastructure.
