Jim Vogt has been with SBCA since March 2006 and serves as the Director of Technical Services. Mr. Vogt has over 20 years experience in the fields of engineering, construction, manufacturing, quality assurance, testing, and wood science and technology. His responsibilities at SBCA include the development of educational programs, technology transfer, structural building component business consulting and marketplace development, non-destructive testing and forensic evaluations, and code review and development.
Vogt received a BS degree in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and MS degrees in Materials Science and Engineering - Wood Technology Section and Civil Engineering - Structures Emphasis from Washington State University.
