Lourdes Cabezuelo Castro is the Mechanisms Lead Engineer of the GMT Enclosure project. Lourdes received her MSc in Structural and Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) and has seven (9) years of experience working at IDOM ADA, combining the roles of Mechanical Specialist and Project Manager. She has broad experience in complex structural and mechatronics turn-key projects, encompassing design phases and the manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of the systems. Among other projects, she has played a relevant role in the Wind Turbines Onshore Rotor Rig Turn-Key Project for General Electric and LM Wind Power as the Deputy Project Manager and Lead of the Mechanical System, in the detail engineering of an up-to-150m blade Test Bench for the China Electric Power Research Institute as Project Manager and in the cable roof extension of San Mames Barria football stadium as a structural engineer.
