Michael Drury is currently an Associate structural engineer at Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates (WJE). He holds a Ph.D. and M.S in Structural Engineering, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Economics, all from Lehigh University. His graduate research consisted of large-scale furnace testing of realistic steel-concrete composite floor prototypes subjected to both gravity and fire loading as well as developing simplified computational modeling techniques for performance-based structural-fire design.
