Mr. Sam Whitin is the Coastal Restoration Director at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology Inc., PBC. He has over 25 years of experience related to the restoration and protection of coastal resources and is a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) with the Society of Ecological Restoration. Mr. Whitin leads specialized teams of engineers and scientists throughout the continental U.S. as well as Alaska and Hawaii to design and implement on-the-ground projects using nature-based solutions to improve resiliency to climate change for governmental agencies such as Department of Defense, National Marine Fisheries Service, National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, as well as a variety of state, private, and non-profit partners.
