Purpose and Background
Effective public speaking is a valuable skill because it does not come easy. Like any skill, you can improve by understanding the building blocks of an effective speech and how to employ successful speaking strategies. This webinar provides an overview of how to develop an effective presentation and the steps needed to deliver a speech the audience will appreciate. The instructor is a keen observer of good, bad, and ugly public speaking and will share his insight into what makes an effective presentation based on his years of experience communicating with audiences.
