Purpose and Background
The establishment and management of appropriate speed zones on a roadway are critical to the safety of the motoring public and other roadway users.
This webinar discusses the implementation of or a change to an existing speed zone. The criteria for determining the appropriate speed of a candidate roadway will be discussed. The presentation will also highlight and explain the importance of public outreach and the information that must be presented to secure community support and understanding.
