ASCE has honored Catherine M. Martsolf, EIT, LEED AP BD+C, A.M.ASCE, with the 2021 Daniel W. Mead Prize for Younger Members for the paper “COVID-19: Redesigning Our Built Environment.”
Canon 6 of the ASCE Code of Ethics states, "Engineers shall act in such a manner as to uphold and enhance the honor, integrity, and dignity of the engineering profession and shall act with zero-tolerance for bribery, fraud, and corruption." The Daniel W. Mead Prize for Younger Members is awarded to the author or authors of a paper on professional ethics. Each year the specific topics, if any, of the contest for the forthcoming year will be selected by the Committee on Younger Members.
