ASCE has honored Taye Ojo, Ph.D., Aff.M.ASCE, and Carin Roberts-Wollmann, Ph.D., with the 2024 T.Y. Lin Award for the paper “Comparison of Post-Tensioned Slabs with Banded-Uniform and Banded-Banded Tendon Arrangements,” published in the ACI Structural Journal, July 2022.
The authors are congratulated for their groundbreaking experimental work on flexural performance of full-scale one-third models of two-way unbonded post-tensioned flat slabs. Besides the research outcome, full-scale tests will provide a very rich test dataset to the research community.
The T.Y. Lin Award recognizes contributions to the field of prestressed concrete.
