Civil Engineering Certification (CEC) Board of Directors
Purpose:
The Civil Engineering Certification (CEC) Board of Directors is the governing body of all CEC administrative units; the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE), the Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE), the Academy of Geo Professionals (AGP), and the Utility Engineering & Surveying Certification Board (UESCB). The purpose of CEC is to develop and administer civil engineering board certification programs. CEC pursues this purpose in collaboration with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) with whom CEC shares mutual interest in advancing the civil engineering profession.
Administrative Units
The American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) Board of Trustees administers the Board-Certified Water Resources Engineer (BC.WRE) certification program.
The Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineers (ACOPNE) Board of Trustees administers the Board-Certified Coastal, Ocean, Port, and Navigation Engineer certifications programs (BC.CE, BC.OE, BC.PE and BC.NE).
The Academy of Geo-Professionals (AGP) Board of Trustees administers the Board-Certified Geotechnical Engineer (BC.GE) certification program.
The Utility Engineering & Surveying Certification Board (UESCB) administers the Board-Certified Pipeline Engineer-Water (BC.PLW) certification program.
