Joshua Pack has a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis. He has been practicing Civil and Traffic Engineering in Northern California for the past 17 years, and is a registered Civil and Traffic Engineer in the State of California. Josh is currently the Principal Civil Engineer at the County of Nevada (California). Prior to this position Josh spent more than 10 years as a Transportation and Civil Engineer at local jurisdictions in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In addition to numerous speaking engagements and technical presentations on traffic signal timing and operations, Josh has also co-authored technical papers on Video Detections Systems (Lone Star Roads - 2009) and the Use of Copper Wires for ITS Networks (ITS World Congress - 2005). Josh was also instrumental in securing an ITS America Smart Solution Spotlight award for his previous jurisdiction in January 2012 for the use of innovative ITS technology to create a safer, cleaner, more efficient and sustainable transportation system.
