Susan Bogus Halter, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE, a professor and the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Endowed Chair in the Department of Civil, Construction & Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque (New Mexico), has been named a fellow by the ASCE Board of Direction.
Bogus teaches and researches in the area of construction engineering and asset management. She is an active member of ASCE, the ASCE Construction Institute, and the TRB Committees on Construction Management and Project Delivery Methods. Prior to joining UNM, she worked for 10 years at CH2M HILL (now Jacobs) as a project engineer and project manager.
She holds bachelor and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a doctoral degree in civil engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Bogus is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
