ASCE has honored Jesse Gormley, P.E., ENV SP, M.ASCE, and Kenneth R. Mika, P.E., BC.GE, F.ASCE, with the 2024 William H. Wisely American Civil Engineer Award.
Gormley is recognized for his creative and inspirational approach in developing groundbreaking initiatives geared toward ASCE Sections, Branches, Younger Member Groups, Regions, and Institute Chapters that contribute to member retention and growth.
Mika is recognized for his steadfast leadership of the Board Strategic Advisory Committee, commitment to advance the Society’s goals, and unwavering support to the local Sections, Branches, Younger Member Groups, Institute Chapters, and Students.
Kevin Longley, Aff.M.ASCE, is also a winner of the 2024 William H. Wisely American Civil Engineer Award for his ongoing efforts to improve the Society’s exposure in multiple media outlets and his thorough and dedicated research to prepare the ASCE president to address major topics of concern to the nation.
The William H. Wisely American Civil Engineer Award recognizes individuals or groups of individuals who are members of ASCE and who have made continuing efforts to promote appreciation for the history, tradition, developments, and technical and professional activities of the Society.
