The 2025 Report Card for America’s Infrastructure gave the U.S. an overall grade of C, the highest grade ever awarded.
Increased investment at the federal and state levels has proven to have a positive impact, with 8 of the 18 infrastructure categories seeing improvement from the 2021 Report Card. However, nine categories are still in the ‘D’ range. So, this year’s report emphasizes the key role sustained investment played in supporting economic growth.
