INSTRUCTOR:

Purpose and Background
??The construction industry holds a significant ability to impact society. It is a cornerstone of societal development, driving economic growth and urbanization while also addressing critical infrastructure and environmental needs. Consequently, virtually every member of society is a stakeholder in construction, highlighting the importance of operating with fairness and transparency. This is especially crucial during the bidding process, which is highly susceptible to ethical breaches.
?This webinar begins by introducing the fundamental principles and ethical responsibilities outlined in the ASCE’s Code of Ethics. It then focuses on key ethical considerations during construction bidding, illustrated through various landmark case studies. Finally, the webinar presents effective practices that practitioners can easily implement to avoid ethical violations during the bidding process.?
