Purpose and Background
These presentations were recorded at the 2024 T & DI Conference.
Division of Program Delivery (15 minutes)
The presentation focuses on the strategies and methodologies used in managing and delivering transportation projects efficiently within a large state department of transportation. It covers the implementation of innovative project management techniques, the coordination of multiple stakeholders, and the optimization of resources to meet project timelines and budgets. The discussion also includes the challenges encountered in program delivery and the solutions employed to overcome these obstacles, ensuring successful project completion. Attendees will gain insights into best practices for enhancing the effectiveness of transportation project delivery processes.
Alternative Delivery Insights (37 minutes)
The presentation describes the various methods of delivering transportation projects outside traditional models, such as Design-Build and Public-Private Partnerships (P3). It explores the benefits and challenges of these alternative delivery methods, highlighting how they can accelerate project timelines, optimize costs, and improve risk management. The session also covers case studies that illustrate the practical application of these methods in real-world scenarios. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how to select and implement the most effective delivery approach for specific transportation projects.

How to Earn your CEUs/PDHs and Receive Your Certificate of Completion
This course is worth 0.1 CEUs/1 PDH. To receive your certificate of completion, you will need to complete a short on-line post-test and receive a passing score of 70% or higher within 365 days of course purchase.
How do I convert CEUs to PDHs?
1.0 CEU = 10 PDHs [Example: 0.1 CEU = 1 PDH]
