Purpose and Background
The construction industry across the United States has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic's toll on the construction industry is still developing with impacts to projects varying from completely shutting down/suspensions, to slowdowns to accommodate the social distancing, and project accelerations as roadway and highway projects in some regions are operating at reduced capacities. The pandemic Is also impacting the industry's supply chain, as well as the construction labor pools. This presentation will look at the current impacts to the construction industry and how the industry’s response has varied from region to region. This webinar will identify best practices assessing impacts and documenting COVID-19 pandemic’s impact to your construction project's schedule and costs.
