Purpose and Background

ASCE 7 contains minimal assistance in designing horizontal, saddle-supported tanks, though these can be quite common on the site of an industrial facility. This webinar helps the attendee discover means for calculating seismic forces and resulting stresses on these types of vessels, with additional emphasis on specifying an appropriate shell thickness.
