Hello COPRI Members, I hope you are all doing well and are off to a great start in 2025! My name is Dustin Young and I have been hired by ASCE to be the new Director of COPRI. It is my honor to be taking on this role and I want to thank my predecessor Jennifer Jacyna for an excellent job transitioning from long-time director Tom Chase.

More than 80 structural, coastal, and climate experts and leaders gathered at a workshop titled Resilience of Navy Waterfront Facilities in a Changing Climate, Part I: Extreme Wind Speed, Sea Level Rise, and Flood Load on Waterfront Facilities, on September 19-20, 2023, at the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA) in Annapolis, MD.
