Workshop on Reducing Claims Against Engineers on Alternative Delivery Project

Join ASCE's Committee for Claim Reduction Management for an engaging workshop on Alternative Delivery Projects.

This workshop will explore the various project delivery methods adopted in different regions of the country, covering the associated risks, benefits, and constraints of each method. Expert panelists will discuss how these methods work, why they are effective, and what engineers need to consider. The workshop will also cover current trends in the insurance industry, with insights on how engineers can positively influence these trends.

Who should attend? Attendees will be engineering firm leaders, project executives, project managers, risk/claims managers, in-house counsels, and underwriters from the professional liability insurance industry.

The Grades are In!

The 2025 Report Card for America’s Infrastructure was released on March 25, 2025, at Planet Word Museum in Washington, D.C. Following the release, ASCE held its Solutions Summit with industry leaders and officials from all levels of government to discuss the next steps to ensure America’s infrastructure grades keep rising and the importance of ongoing investment in the systems every American depends on.


Recognizing Civil Engineering Leaders

ASCE needs your help casting a spotlight on a diverse group of high achievers.  Nominations are being accepted for Outstanding Projects and Leaders (OPAL) leadership awards in the categories of Construction, Design, Education, Government and Management. Civil engineers whose career accomplishments make them icons of the profession will be showcased at the OPAL Gala.  Do you know an outstanding civil engineering leader deserving of recognition in one of these five categories? Offshore Technology Conference (OTC)

Did you know that COPRI is a founding organization for the Offshore Technology Conference?  There is still an opportunity to save on your registration for OTC 2025! Register by May 4th when the registration rate will increase to onsite registration!

If you are interested in attending, you are encouraged to serve as a volunteer. Volunteers are needed at the registration counters and in the technical sessions. Volunteers must work one half-day shift and attend a mandatory pre-conference orientation.  In appreciation for your time, volunteers will receive a complimentary 4-day registration and parking pass to the conference. Volunteers must register by 15 April 2025 and is on a first come, first served basis so don’t wait to sign up! For more information, please email [email protected].
