Automated People Movers Committee
Purpose:
To study and evaluate development in automated people movers, including planning, design, construction, operations, and financial feasibility, and to encourage exchange of experience through publications, workshops, and conferences.
International Conference on Transportation and Development (ICTD) 2025
ASCE’s flagship conference in transportation and development, co-located with ASCE’s longstanding specialty conference on airfield & highway pavements for an invaluable experience of two conferences in one. Held in partnership with the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Richard Czarnomski, A.M.ASCE
Richard Czarnomski is Chair of T&DI’s APM Committee. Richard has over 30 years of professional marketing and business development experience in the architectural/engineering consulting industry, most of which have been related to the airport, rail and transit markets. He has held marketing and business development positions at several well-known A/E consulting firms including Sverdrup (now Jacobs), Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP), Hatch Mott MacDonald and Burns Engineering. Currently, as Manager of Business Development for Lea+Elliott’s Eastern Region, Richard is responsible for working with regional leadership and technical specialists to develop and manage client-specific business development initiatives in the airport, rail and transit markets. Richard has a Bachelor’s degree with majors in Architecture and Urban Studies from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
