On January 23rd, 2025, the ASCE SEI East Central Florida Chapter hosted a successful networking event at KEG Social in Orlando. The event was sponsored by SEI Futures Fund, Florida Bridge & Transportation, and FINFROCK. More than 20 professionals and students attended, including senior engineers, young professionals, and university students. Representatives from the ASCE SEI, ASCE East Central Florida, ASCE YMF ECB, and the ASCE UCF Student Chapter were also present.
The event featured structured small-group networking, allowing participants to connect and explore opportunities for involvement with ASCE/SEI. To support future engineers, ECB SEI awarded three book scholarships to UCF students.
Following the event, a senior engineer shared their appreciation, stating: "Thank you very much for the event last night. It was perfectly planned and set up, and it provided a very friendly atmosphere. Honestly, I made more friends at this event compared to all other ASCE events that I have attended in 2024!"
The evening was a testament to the strength of the engineering community and the value of meaningful professional connections.
