Elected Technical Region Director
LeAnne Napolillo serves as project director and vice president for HNTB Corporation, where she has almost 30 years of diverse experience leading multi-disciplinary teams solving complex transportation projects involving federal funding and multi-agency, multi-party agreements. She has successfully managed and delivered projects through all phases of the project life cycle, including environmental approval, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocation, design and construction. Her experience includes US 290 Program Manager, where she was responsible for managing environmental planning, design and construction for the multi-billion-dollar freeway reconstruction program for 38 miles of US 290 in northwest Houston. She also currently serves as Office Operations Manager for HNTB’s Houston office.
LeAnne received her Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Kansas State University and Master of Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from the University of Houston. She has been an active member of ASCE since her student days at Kansas State and has served in multiple leadership positions at the local, state and institute level, including Houston Branch President, Texas Section Vice-President Education, and Construction Institute President.
She has received numerous awards, including the Friedman Young Engineer Award; the Houston Branch and Texas Section Awards of Honor; and the John A. Focht Jr. Citizen Engineer Award. In 2018, she was recognized by the Houston Business Journal as a “Women Who Mean Business” honoree.
LeAnne and her husband David live in Houston, and they have two children.
