The Women-Water Nexus (WWN) Committee, a part of the International Council, is dedicated to the development of a network of scientists and engineers in developed and developing countries to advance new technologies in water treatment and water resources with a focus on promoting the careers of women scientists and engineers on a global scale, including advancing opportunities and recognition for female water professionals in developing countries. The WWN Committee hosts a variety of enriching activities, including the annual Coffee & Conversation with WWN at EWRI Congress, the Global Science Exchange webinar series in collaboration with the Students and Education Council, and monthly book clubs.

During the EWRI Congress in Milwaukee for our Coffee & Conversation event, we had 50 attendees despite meeting at 7:00 AM! We had very active discussions with a diverse audience. Thank you all who came out to participate.
