Younger Member Leadership Symposium

Costa Rica Section President-Elect, Angel Narravo, M.ASCE, attended the ASCE Younger Member Leadership Symposium (YMLS) that was held at ASCE headquarters in Reston, Virginia from August 18-20, 2023. YMLS was hosted by the Committee on Younger Members and gathered nearly 100 young engineers from around the world to compare notes and learn from other younger members about how to take the next steps in their careers into leadership roles. Travel was funded by the Board approved 2023 budget for R10 younger members to attend YM programs and Section and Branch workshops.

Multi Regions Leadership Conference (MRLC)

Mario Alberto Vargas, Ing., P.E., L.S., M.ASCE, President of the Costa Rica Section attended Multi Regions Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado, February 3-4, 2023. Travel was funded by the Board approved 2023 budget for R10 younger members to attend YM programs and Section and Branch workshops.
