The Kuwait Section was established on January 15, 2025, after its successful operation as an ASCE International Group from 2017-2024.
The purpose of ASCE sections is to provide local engagement for ASCE members through meetings, guest speakers, networking, professional development at all career stages, technical content, event notices and resource information, support to ASCE Student Members and their transition to professional membership. Successful operation under the leadership of Section Officers relies on the efforts and engagement in activities by all Section members.
SCONF26 & Gulf Engineering Forum 27, Kuwait, February 3-4, 2026
The Investment, Sustainability Challenges and Innovative Solutions in Smart Infrastructure Project conference was organized by the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) and held alongside the 27th Gulf Engineering Forum. The conference provided a platform for knowledge sharing, dialogue, and best practice exchange among local, regional, and international experts, addressing pressing challenges facing infrastructure projects and highlighted the role of policy, governance, and innovative solutions in ensuring long-term sustainability of smart infrastructures projects across engineering, economic, environmental, and social dimensions. ASCE was represented by ASCE Kuwait Section leadership and R10 Governor Rasheed Hassan.
