ASCE-SLS Bakmaha Ulela

The event was held on April 05, 2025, at the Wasana Nature Resort, Kandana. Organized by their Social Events Committee, this event brought together members, families, and student chapters to celebrate the spirit of the Sinhala & Tamil New Year with traditional games, Avurudu Kevili, fun-filled activities, and joyful memories. From activities to delicious food and exciting giveaways, the event was a wonderful reflection of team spirit, unity, and cultural celebration. The photos showcase the event’s festivities.

Sri Lanka Section’s Support for Student Group Formation

Event was held on January 6, 2025 to celebrate the start of the student group formation process by the Faculty of Engineering at NSBM Green University, in presence of Sri Lanka Section leaders, President Denzil Lokuliyana and Secretary Prageeth Wijesekara, and ASCE R10 Governor Kamal Laksiri. Esteemed faculty members joined the event to offer their support and encouragement. ASCE Student Members are committed to cultivating professional growth, fostering collaboration, and strengthening ties between the civil engineering community at NSBM and ASCE’s student chapters global network.

Global Link - International Activities

ACECC Logo

The Asian Civil Engineering Coordinating Council (ACECC) is organizing the 10th Civil Engineering Conference in the Asian Region (CECAR10) in Jeju, South Korea, October 21–24, 2025, hosted by the Korean Society of Civil Engineers. The theme of the Conference is "Sustainable Management and Resilient Technology (SMaRT) in Civil Engineering”.
